Recently, the car depot equipment developed by CRRC Qingdao Sifang Rolling Stock Research Institute Co., Ltd. (SRI) for LRT3 light rail project of Malaysia has been delivered and accepted in Malaysia. This is the first exported car lifter project, including the fixed car lifter, the mobile car lifter, the bogie lifting platform and other devices.
The Light Rail Transit Line 3 in Malaysia, called LRT3 for short, is a light rail line built to relieve traffic congestion along the western corridor expressway and the fast road in Greater Kuala Lumpur. The car lifters supplied by SRI for Malaysian LRT3 project can lift the whole train to a designated height without uncoupling, which will facilitate the maintenance of underframe equipment. The products are safe and reliable with stable operation.
The car lifters for Malaysian LRT3 project have been delivered to the site of Kuala Lumpur this year. To guarantee the safe commissioning and stable operation of the products, SRI built a professional and efficient service team, sending its personnel to the site for guidance of installation and offering the remote support by technicians in China. They have efficiently completed the installation and commissioning of the products and successfully passed the overall delivery acceptance, highly recognized by the customer.
SRI is the first enterprise specializing in development and manufacture of car lifter products in China. Through years of independent innovation and iterative upgrading, a complete system of car lifter products has been formed and occupied a dominant position in technology and market in China. Compatible car lifters, weighing car lifters and other compound car lifters have been successively put into service, and multiple orders from Malaysia, Singapore and other overseas projects have been awarded for relevant products.
